Mac OS Lion Enhanced Wallpaperby ~GiGaNToR90

The first time i saw the default wallpaper, i was a little let down. It wasn't interesting nor striking. Having used it for a few days now i can say it grows on you. And the things i hated before about it, is exactly what i have grown to like.

This wallpaper works because it is simple and doesn't intrude on your screen, it is kept nice and clean.

I however found the original very grainy, taking away from the clean-ness of the wallpaper.
Using a 27" Apple Cinema Display, i hated this.
I enhanced the photo. minimising the grain, while keeping the original detail.

Highly recommended for Hi-Resolution Monitors as default replacement.

How would you categorized this type of photo? Landscape? Are there some other clean and calm wallpapers but not inspired by "apple's" professionals? Could you tell us an example?
